My afternoon project

I felt creative today, so I made a project this afternoon! It only took me about 2 - 2 1/2 hours to make it, too! I found the stuff at Hobby Lobby and kind of went crazy! I think this will be my new obsession, finding words and decorating them...I'll probably have at least one for every room haha! And it turned out really well, better than I expected! :) I put the word READ on the wall above my bookcase :) 

(My dad is in the process of making me a bigger bookcase to fit all my books, so that is why it's bare on the left side.)

I'm still on Cloud 9 from this last weekend, I keep thinking about it, daydreaming about it...it was the best night of my life! My life is now complete, I have seen the Backstreet Boys and New Kids on the Block in concert!! My 10 year old self would be proud! :) If I knew 12 or 13 years ago, that I would be seeing Backstreet Boys in concert when I was 23, I wouldn't have believed it! lol! Words can't even describe how awesome it was, it was mind blowing! When they showed the opening sequence with everyone's pictures, I almost hyperventilated. It was like I was 12 years old all over again, screaming at the top of my lungs when I would see them on tv! I'll post a few pictures from the concert, they didn't turn out the best, but they aren't too bad. We had pretty amazing seats, but you can't really tell that from the photos. 

I was pleasantly surprised when Matthew Morrison opened for them!

He came right up to where we were in the audience and we got within INCHES of him, I mauled someone over just to get closer but didn't quite make it...lol!

Breaking Dawn

I realized today that it is exactly 4 months until Breaking Dawn Part 1 comes out!!!!!!!!!!! :) Then I also realized that since I want to read all the books again before that, I should probably start soon, cuz who knows how long it will take me to read all of them since I will hopefully be starting a job next month. Which is definitely not a bad thing, if I had to read one series to read over and over, it would definitely be the Twilight Saga!!! 

Lazy!

Wow, I am super LAZY! I feel like I've done nothing for the past few days! Except clean, which is a never ending process, and gets dirty hours after I clean :( I'm still working on Tiger's Curse by Colleen Houck, I should really start reading more and start watching Criminal Minds less :) 

So the new season of True Blood started last weekend! Any other Truebies out there?! I cannot wait to see the rest of this season, it's going to be the best one! Although I am kind of surprised how different it is from the book, not much is the same, but I'm interested in seeing where they go with it! 

I just LOVE Lafayette! He is my all time favorite character :) He's just so flippin' funny! And I just HAVE to show off my new phone cover/sticker...it's pretty much the coolest thing I've ever seen :)

Just because I'm bored and it's late...

So I haven't been able to do much on my blog for the last few weeks, but now it's finally fixed so I'm going to catch up on a couple things...and because I'm bored and it's late at night. And now it's officially Wednesday, I'm going to do this from the last 2 weeks.

{three} you just won your dream vacation, all expenses paid. where are you going?Ireland. I would love to visit there and see all of the beautiful scenery! I would also have to make a stop in Washington state to visit there too :)
{four} what is your favorite outdoor activity?Walking, hiking, taking pictures of scenery
{five} as a child, what did you want to “be when you grew up”? did you end up there?I always wanted to be a teacher, and I kind of ended up there. I'm a daycare teacher :)
{six} what are 3 things your dream home would have that you don’t currently have?A library, underground sprinklers, a super nice kitchen
{seven} what’s for dinner tonight?Well it was sloppy joes, we already ate
{eight} if someone stopped by your house unannounced on a typical Saturday night, what would they find you doing?Probably watching tv or a movie
{nine} what’s your average monthly water bill?I really don't have an idea of that, my hubby takes care of all the bills. And it's combined with the rest of the city bills

{two} how have you changed in the past year?I don't think I (myself) have changed much, but things in my life have changed a lot! We bought a house, moved to a small town, had to leave my job :( and now I'm looking for a new job. 
{three} have you ever had any surgeries?Nope
{four} why did you start your blog?To express my love for books and hopefully let other people know about what I read and what I thought of those books! It's a lot of fun, even if not very many people read it :)
{five} what are you looking forward to this summer?New Kids On The Block and Backstreet Boys concert!!!
{six} do you have any family traditions for the 4th of July?We ALWAYS go to the parade and festivities in the small town near where my parents live! We go there in the morning for the parade, eat lunch with my grandparents, and go to the park for the craft fair and other stuff in the afternoon and fireworks at night! :) Although that will all change this year since my grandma left us, it will be hard, but we still want to go there...
{seven} what’s something new that you’ve tried in the past few months?Strawberry cream cheese on bagels...ok, so it's not that NEW, but it's new to me and it's my new favorite snack!

{nine} what was the last movie you saw in the theater?Water for Elephants :) LOVE that movie!!!
