Blog Hops

I've decided to start doing some blog hops, hoping to get more followers!

Color Splash Sunday 5-1-11

So I decided to start some blog hops and such, just for the fun of it. So here is my first one, I hope you all like it! Some flowers from my grandma's funeral, yellow roses, I thought were so pretty!

The Host

Well, I finished it! It still took me longer than expected. My grandmother passed away on Easter, we were very close, so it was so hard on me. So I was gone all week and didn't get much time to read, but I finished it on Tuesday. It was slow going in the beginning, but it picked up toward the end. I think that it should have picked up a lot sooner, but the end was very good! For awhile I was thinking it was going to be a sad ending, but it surprised me! :) Gotta love Stephenie Meyer! Now I'm waiting until the next Sookie Stackhouse book comes out on Tuesday (YAY!!) to read any more, so I might take a little break, or I might read Drops Like Stars by Rob Bell while I'm waiting, we'll see...

Hmmm...

So...it's been awhile...I'm still working on The Host. We FINALLY got done moving and unpacking and now I'm able to read again! I was SUPER busy for awhile, but I'm really glad I'm done now so I have more time to do fun stuff, like read! :) I'm almost done with it, hopefully I can finish it today or tomorrow! It's getting better...it took awhile to get into it, but it's definitely getting more interesting now! Thankfully! I'll let you know what I think of it when I'm done!
